Summary of the course

Electrical Power Generation is the process of generation of electric power from primary sources of energy. Electricity is usually generated at a power plant by electromechanical generators, which are driven by heat engines fuelled by combustion or nuclear fission, but also by other means such as the kinetic energy of flowing water and wind.
