Skills for Success
Here is your Friday thought provoker 😀 This is another sketch note from the great Tanmay Vora. The subject is “skills for success in a disruptive world of work”. My first thought is that “disruptive” is here to stay. New skills are introduced. My personal favourite is “social intelligence”. But adaptive mindset and interdisciplinary thinking are really interesting too. Is it too late to teach old dogs new tricks? Can current leaders adapt? Big question. Maybe it is sufficient for them to recognise that we must develop future talent in these future skills. What do you think? How many #talent programmes actually look for these skills in new talent? My guess is not many. Perhaps that is because we are looking for the skills that made our existing leaders great, not the skills that will make tomorrow’s leaders great. Controversial I know but I will try anything to get some feedback.
