In the welded connection simulator you will have to select the materials of the connection components taking into account their mechanical strength. On the other hand, you have to choose the welding length and size, in order to make the structure withstand the mechanical stresses introduced. Finally, the structure must be verified so that no component fails under the proposed load. Calculation under ANSI/AISC Standard 360-16.
