Summary of the course
Fluid mechanics is involved with the mechanics of fluids like liquids, gases, and plasmas and the forces applied to them. It can be classified into static fluid and dynamic fluid. It is a branch of continuum mechanics. Fluid mechanics, particularly fluid dynamics, is an alive field for research, typically mathematically composite.
By the end of this E-learning course, students will learn about the:-
1. Students will develop the fundamental knowledge of fluid, its various properties, and behaviour under different conditions of internal and external flows.
2. Students will develop an understanding of hydrostatic law, the principle of buoyancy and stability of a floating body, and the application of mass, momentum, and energy equation in fluid flow.
3. Students will develop an understanding of the basic laws and equations used for the analysis of static and dynamic fluids.
4. Students will develop an understanding of the importance of fluid flow measurement and its applications in Industries.
5. Students will develop an understanding of the fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, which is used in the applications of Aerodynamics, Hydraulics, Marine Engineering, Gas dynamics, etc.
