Measuring instruments is the means by which magnitudes are measured. There is a great variety of instruments that are used to conduct measurements; some of them are used for direct measurement and others for indirect measurement.

The course will introduce measurement instruments like the caliper, the micrometer, the dial indicator, the block gauge, and the goniometer. These instruments are largely used in workshops and laboratories to measure diameters, lengths, angles, etc. with better resolution than a ruler.
