In the nodal connection simulator you have to select the materials of the connection components, taking into account their mechanical resistance. On the other hand, you must choose the number of bolts and their diameter, in order to ensure that the structure supports the mechanical stresses introduced. Finally, the structure must be verified so that no component fails under the proposed load. Calculation under ANSI/AISC Standard 360-16.
