steelChallenge-18 Regional Championship.
The Regional Championship is scheduled for 29 November at 12 UTC. Any updates will be posted here

13:50 UTC, 29 NOV – The steelChallenge-18 regional championship has started at 12 UTC. A welcome webinar was held and the recording can be found here.
14:10 UTC, 29 NOV – The first leaderboard has been published. The steelChallenge-18 servers are stable and running.
12:00 UTC, 30 NOV -The steelChallenge-18 Regional Championship has ended, thank you for your participation.
Audit
steeluniversity will audit the results to validate successful simulation runs. This may take up to 7 days. The expected announcement day is 7 December, but please note that the time for reviewing results may be extended at the request of the audit team.
FAQ
Identity and eligibility confirmation
Some qualified participants should be contacted within the auditing period to confirm their identity, eligibility for the competition, and the ability to participate in the World Championship. This is a formal step of the audit process and this does not signify by any means that contacted participants are finalists.
This confirmation is required to be completed within 24 hours of being contacted by steeluniversity. Please check your email and reply as soon as possible with the required documentation in case you will be contacted.
Participants who provide false information or do not respond to the confirmation are not eligible for the World Championship.
Can I have my steelChallenge ranking and certificate?
Participants successfully completing a simulation run during steelChallenge-18 will receive a competition certificate after the audit process ends. It could take up to 7 days.
The certificate will be accessible in the steelChallenge-18 course and can be printed.
In the course, in the Competition Day module, you will be able to check your performance and get your ranking after the audit process ends.
When will be the steelChallenge results available?
We expect to announce the winners on 07 December 2023. The results will be published on the steeluniversity website, worldsteel website and announced on our social media channels.
Can I have a steelChallenge ranking for my company?
steelChallenge sponsors have access to a company ranking to know the performance of its members. These rankings are sent to the company’s contact person for dissemination, not to the individual participants.
